These companies are contractually restricted from using your information in any manner other than in helping us to provide you with the products and services available from Campman.

In addition to the mailings above, we make available customer names and postal addresses (not your email address or phone number), in combination with transactional data to other select companies. If you do not want us to share this information with these companies, simply contact us and we will add your name to our "Do Not Share" list.

Transfer of Information to the U.S. and Other Countries

We are based in the United States which is where all information collected is stored and processed. If you are not based in the U.S., we transfer your personal information and process that information to servers located in the U.S., which may not provide the same rights and protections as you have under your local law.

Account Information

You are not required to create or maintain an online account to purchase items on the Campman website. By updating or removing information, you will update or remove our access to the information in your account at any time. We may retain information as required for legitimate business purposes or as required by law.

You have the right to request information about the categories above and the personal information collected and shared for business purposes in the last 12 months, deletion of your personal information, and to request that we do not sell your personal information if we were to engage in that activity in the future. We will verify this request by asking you to provide information related to recent activities on our website. Campman may provide links to websites outside of our own as an added convenience to the user. Some affiliates link to our website. Any link included does not imply or convey endorsement of the other company or organization, its site, or its products or services. Campman is not responsible for the privacy, terms of use, or other policies of any other website.

Campman's Children's Policy

Except for membership data applicable to children, we do not intend to collect any personally identifiable information from children through our websites. Please do not allow children under the age of 18 to provide any personally identifiable information or participate in the bulletin board sections of Campman's websites. If you have concerns about a member under the age of 18 receiving mail from companies other than Campman, you can contact us and we will add the member's name to our "Do Not Share" list.

Protection of Campman and Others

We release account and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law or protect the rights, property, or safety of Campman, our users, or others.

Privacy Policy Changes

This Privacy Policy replaces all previous disclosures we may have provided you about our information practices. We reserve the right to change this policy and to apply any changes to previously collected information as permitted by law. The following Security Statement describes the technologies we use and provides additional details about how we handle sensitive data like credit card information. By registering with Verisign, we provide you a method of independently authenticating that the entity you are dealing with over the Internet is actually Campman.

What Happens to My Information After Campman Receives It?

SSL protects information en route to us. Verisign certificate technology helps ensure that Campman is the actual recipient of this information. We also work very hard to make sure the information you send us is stored and managed securely once we receive it. All data collected is stored on-site and is protected by multiple levels of data and structural security. This information is only accessible to Campman and trusted, contracted third-party service providers that we choose to share this information with.

No-Risk Shopping Guarantee

We guarantee that every transaction you make at Campman will be secure. Should any unauthorized charges ever be made to your card as a result of shopping here, you would pay nothing.

Campman Pays Your $50 Credit Card Liability

Per the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50 of fraudulent charges. Campman will cover the $50 liability if the unauthorized use of your credit card resulted in purchases made through our site while using our secure server.

Remember, in the event of unauthorized use of your credit card number, you must notify your credit provider in accordance with the reporting rules and procedures listed in your account agreement.

Klarna Privacy Policy

We use Klarna as the provider of our checkout. This means that we might transfer your personal data in the form of contact and order details to Klarna when the checkout is loaded, in order for Klarna to manage your purchase. Your personal data transferred is processed in line with Klarna’s own privacy notice.
