Smith Summit MIPS Ski Helmet

$230.00

Triple-Certified for Alpine Skiing and Mountaineering

The Summit MIPS Helmet is one of Smith’s few options that’s been triple-certified for backcountry touring, ski mountaineering, and skiing or snowboarding the resort. Its hybrid shell combines EPS foam and lightweight in-mold panels to provide comfort and durability in a low profile that straps to backpacks perfectly. Inside the shell, zones of Koroyd’s ultralight honeycomb inserts enhance energy absorption in key areas. Smith lined the Summit in Ionic+ fabric for sweat-activated wicking and odor control. This helmet has more vents than any Smith helmet to provide plenty of airflow and keep your cool when you’re bootpacking up rocky couloirs or ice climbing. The 360 Fit System is Boa at its best with an adaptable fit and a plethora of micro-adjustments for a quick-and-easy, secure fit even if you’re wearing a beanie one day and a baseball cap the next. The helmet’s brim has vents that match up with Smith’s ski goggles to give enhanced ventilation as well as a gapless style.
