Where The Glaciers Roam

The La Sportiva Glacier WLF is a classic leather mountaineering boot built for long trails to the alpine’s technical terrain. It’s as comfortable on long, steep trails as it is supportive when you’re boulder-hopping back to camp. The leather upper ensures long-lasting durability that only looks better after each trek. The EZ Flex tongue is removable so you can get in and out without a grunt, and the fast-lace closure creates a snug fit from top to bottom. Underfoot, PU AirCushioning and a stiff insole work together harmoniously for long-haul comfort and stiff support. There’s also a half-length steel shank to solidify the shoe’s stiff support, and Vibram’s Ice-New rubber sole sticks to the alpine’s icy rock so you stay sure-footed from trailhead to summit.

Although it’s not intended for wildland fire, the rubber sole is heat-resistant to 572F and glue-resistant to 159F.
