For The Toughest Approaches

The TX4 is La Sportiva’s burliest approach shoe for climbers, and the TX4 Mid GTX Approach Boot bolsters support and stability for the longest, most technical trails out there. It has a GORE-TEX waterproof, breathable protected upper to keep your foot comfortably dry in alpine conditions. La Sportiva made the upper out of leather for long-lasting durability, and the rubber rand reinforces the upper for scrambling and smearing your way to the bottom of the climb. Underfoot, the Vibram Megagrip’s softer rubber compound gives a better bite on a variety of mountainous surfaces. La Sportiva’s plethora of braking, biting, and control systems ensure the stability and support necessary to keep control when you’re hiking tricky terrain with a pack full of climbing gear.
