SCARPA Chimera Climbing Shoes

$218.95

Modern Precision

Featuring the largest redesign of the SCARPA's season, the new Chimera Climbing Shoe is officially the most precise, best-fitting footwear specialized for sport climbing and bouldering. It's the most technically advanced climbing shoe to date, meeting the standards that modern climbers require for boulders, sport climbs, and climbing gyms. While the PCB-Tension rand ensures a solid grip on overhangs, the sensitive Toe Power Support enhances edging when you're tip-toeing up microscopic footholds on more-vertical climbs. The multi-panel upper utilizes soft microsuede mostly encompassed in Vibram rubber all around the toe for the ultimate in friction whether you're smearing up a greasy topout or toe-hooking out of a cave. The asymmetric lacing was inspired by the Drago, and the main difference between the Drago and the Chimera is the Chimera's narrower fit.
