Whoever told you that you can’t have comfort and performance in a climbing shoe never wore the Evolv Women's Shakra Climbing Shoe. Employing the same technologies at the Chris-Sharma-designed Shaman, namely extra room in the knuckle area of the shoe for a no-cram fit and reduced dead space under your toes to enhance power, the Shakra has a slightly narrower last for a women's-specific fit. With a synthetic vegan upper and extra rubber on top, you can expect the shoe to hold its shape and excel at technical toe hooks. Though more sensitive than the Shaman, the Shakra’s midsole remains soft enough to be powerful on the steeps. Evolv finished this pair off with dual hook-and-loop straps so you can get the perfect fit and super sticky TRAX SAS high-friction rubber so you can trust even the slipperiest smears.
