The La Sportiva Women’s TX3 Approach Shoe shines in weather fit for sandals, but the trail’s as demanding as your pack full of trad gear is heavy. It’s one of La Sportiva’s airier approach shoes with a full mesh upper to maximize ventilation. It has the same durable rubber rand that climbers expect out of approach shoes. The toe is Vibram rubber for durability, and the sides are PU for greater flexibility. Underfoot, Vibram’s Megagrip rubber compound gives enhanced traction over a variety of slippery surfaces commonly found in mountainous terrain. La Sportiva’s plethora of braking, biting features ensure stable control when you’re hiking deer trails with a #5 cam swinging back and forth on your backpack.
