Big Agnes Classic
The Blacktail 3 Tent is a tried & true Big Agnes shelter that’s light enough for backpacking and strong enough car camping a couple times in summertime. While primarily used for backpacking, the Blacktail boasts enough versatility for the occasional car camping trip with friends. The rainfly and floor fend off less-than-ideal conditions at camp, while the mesh canopy, vestibule’s low vent, and supportive roof vents improve air circulation and prevent a damp sleeping space. There are a surprising amount of pockets inside, and internal loops let you attach accessories like lights or lofts that big Agnes sells separately.
