The JetForce Pro features a fan-based airbag system that has multiple advantages over canister-style options including multiple deploys on a single battery charge, inflation pulses to keep the bag inflated even if it is punctured during an avalanche, and the ability to test the bag yearly without having to pay to refill your canisters afterward. A beefy 200-liter airbag inflates with the pull of a single trigger adding extra volume in the event of an avalanche, and the system is completely travel-friendly meaning you don't have to go without it when you head out for an international ski vacation. Black Diamond was also able to drop the weight of the pack down to under 7 pounds overall, and still include a diagonal ski carry option, ice axe loop, and helmet carry system, so you can carry everything you'll need for any adventure. In case you need more storage for longer day trips or multi-day adventures, the Pro model is compatible with the Booster Packs (sold separately) of varying sizes (10 L, 25 L, and 35 L) letting you add more room to your pack by simply zipping them into place.
