It adds a layer of warmth when it’s too cold for your sleeping bag, and it adds welcoming warmth when the campfire isn’t cutting it. Big Agnes insulated the quilt with light, packable down insulation it can pack down small enough for backpacking, and when the quilt is packed into its own pocket, the pocket doubles as a pillow for extra convenience on backpacking trips.
