The Petzl Glacier Linkin Ice Axe is light and leashed to stay out of the way on the majority of mountaineering missions, and once it comes to the glacier traverse, it’s absolutely essential. Its curved head fits comfortably in your hand, especially in the piolet-canne position. The stainless steel spike and tapered pick enhance anchoring in hard snow and ice. Petzl added an adze for carving out steps efficiently.
