The Salewa Men’s Wildfire 2 Shoe is a lightweight, agile, and precise tech approach shoe built for mountain approaches, scrambles, and easy alpine climbs. Its robust and breathable recycled synthetic mesh upper is lined with PFC-free mesh and reinforced with a TPU front rand for protection against scree and debris. A cushioning EVA midsole delivers comfort on the approach, while the Switchfit adjustment system lets you quickly shift from hike mode to climb mode via an additional eyelet for better performance on smaller footholds and edges. A lateral net system of Kevlar cables enhances overall performance and sensitivity throughout the shoe, and climbing lacing in the toe area provides fine adjustment for technical precision. The Pomoca Speed Mtn outsole is engineered for precision and sensitivity on mixed mountain terrain, with Butylic compound rubber delivering reliable grip on rock in both dry and wet conditions.
