The Petzl Croll S is a reinforced chest ascender designed to work in combination with a handled ascender for efficient rope ascent. Mounted directly to the harness, it handles the upper attachment point during climbing, reducing the workload on the arms and providing the mechanical advantage needed for sustained vertical progression. Reinforced construction handles the stresses of thin to medium diameter ropes from 8 to 11 mm. Compatible with Petzl handled ascenders and foot ascender systems.
