Steel bite. Alpine weight.
The Petzl Leopard Hybrid LLU gives ski tourers and alpinists something the all-aluminum Leopard cannot: steel front points for reliable bite on firm ice and consolidated glacier terrain. The hybrid construction pairs a steel front section with a lightweight aluminum heel piece, striking a balance between technical performance and reduced weight. The Cord-Tec flexible linking system keeps the crampons foldable and compact in the included transport pouch, and the Leverlock Universel binding fits most footwear with a heel welt, including the majority of technical ski touring and mountaineering boot styles. Included Antisnow system limits snow buildup underfoot during variable conditions.
