The Lightest Ascent

In its newest iteration, the Ropeman 4 Ascender is Wild Country’s lightest, most compact, and most versatile rope clamper for a wide range of vertical-world applications whether you’re climbing, mountaineering, climbing into a tree stand, or even working. It’s one of the few, if not the only, ascenders that’s also compatible with slings–as long as they’re flat and tubular–as well as ropes. It touts a massive rope diameter compatibility, and unique grooves along the cam keep the rope or sling properly oriented. You can use classic oval carabiners or the HMS carabiners you keep in your climbing pack.
