The Petzl Pantin is a foot ascender that clips to the climber's boot and engages with the rope to allow leg-power assistance during rope ascent. When used in combination with a handled ascender and chest ascender, the Pantin completes a three-point vertical progression system that dramatically reduces arm fatigue on long rope sections. Compatible with 7 to 13 mm ropes and available in left and right versions to suit individual preference.
