This hyper-breathable piece is perfect for climbing and hiking in spring and fall, or even mountaineering in summertime. Unlike standard breathable materials, which only breathe until after you start sweating, air permeable breathable materials like the Vapour-Rise begin breathing the second you zip in. While maximizing breathability, this jacket still features enough weather protection for brisk breezes and occasionally light snowfall.
