When it comes to off-vertical walls and overhangs, flat profile climbing shoes just don't cut it anymore. Swap out your old shoes for the SCARPA Arpia women's climbing shoe. Specifically built for female climbers making the move from traditional flat shoes to something a bit more aggressive and with enough downturn to keep you on the wall when the angle goes past 90 degrees, the Arpia is perfect for anyone who wants a performance shoe that won't make them feel like their foot is being forced into an unnatural position every time they put it on. Softer than the Vapor V, this shoe also boasts an impressive amount of flex, allowing you to edge as you pull the bulge-crux and smear on the slab top out afterward. With the single z-strap closure system, the Arpia is easy to get on and stays in place even after countless heel hooks, heel-toe-cams and bat hangs so that you don't have to think about anything but clipping the chains the next time you rope up.
