An in-mold construction keeps the helmet lightweight while the EPS liner provides the impact protection you need when hurling yourself down the trail. Rounding out the safety features, Smith added a MIPS layer which works to reduce the forces of angled impacts on your head by letting the helmet slide when contacting blunt objects at an angle. While state-of-the-art protection would have been enough for most helmet makers, Smith didn't stop there. They also added 20 built-in vents, AirEvac technology to stop your sunglasses from fogging up, and an anti-bacterial lining inside, so you're never focused on anything but the trail at hand.
