Airbags have become a trusted companion for many backcountry travelers, and if you’re ready to make the leap, you’ll want a Dakine RAS Removable Refillable Empty Cylinder to power your airbag’s deployment. This canister is compatible with the Airbag System 3.0 by Mammut® (the canister is actually a Mammut item, but you can keep that between us), and it’s capable of safely holding a 3,000 PSI charge that inflates your airbag in seconds. It ships empty, but most dive shops or paintball shops will be able to fill it for you if you don’t have a high pressure air compressor at your disposal.
