Vintage Meets Modern

La Sportiva styled the limited edition Women’s TX4 R Approach Shoe with retro colors as a callback to the golden years of climbing. Even their “climbing on the moon” logo makes a reappearance. But this isn’t like the approach shoes of yesteryear. It’s one of La Sportiva’s most durable approach shoes shaped for the modern climber. The rubber-randed leather upper lasts for seasons of approaches in the desert and high alpine. Vibram Megagrip’s softer rubber compound gives great traction over a variety of slippery surfaces, and various braking, biting, and controlling systems ensure plenty of control on tricky trails with a pack full of trad gear. You can resole this shoe to last for longer than most approach shoes.
